Hey everyone, I've been fortunate enough to meet some wonderful and wonderfully talented

people through podcasting.

Two such people are Whitney and Melissa from Colts, Crimes and Cabernet, an ethically responsible

episodic True Grime podcast.

Here's a clip from an episode they did on the disappearance of 17-year-old Caleb Deal.

Caleb vanished from Nacona, Texas on March 30th of 2015.

And shortly after he was reported missing, a truck he had borrowed from a family friend

was found at the family friend's workplace.

And nearby on the ground, was Caleb's cell phone, which had been destroyed.

The investigation would lead to hidden surveillance equipment, a cache of strange evidence, and secrets

someone might be willing to kill over.

Caleb was born March 15th, 1997 to Tammy and Chad Deal.

Caleb was the youngest of four siblings.

He grew up in a small town of Nacona, Texas.

Even though he still worked in Nacona, he did live with his sister Courtney and Great

Vine and went to school in her district.

He was a fearless child, always out for adventure and rarely at home.

You could almost always find him with his friends, one of those kids that never looked before

they leaped.
