Hi, this is Alex. We are working on some more reply all stories. We have a new one from

0:06.2

a manual that's coming up very soon. But in the meantime, we've got something from our

0:10.2

colleagues at Gimlet. Hello. Hi, how are you? I'm good. I'm good. I'm

0:15.6

this is Habibah Nishin. She's an investigative reporter. And she's the host of season three

0:20.2

of conviction, which is a show that digs into a big crime story every season. I'm recording.

0:26.0

I think one two three four one two three four. And I recorded this interview with her from deep within

0:31.0

my closet at home. Thanks for doing this. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm good. We just put out

1:24.5

And I think it's worth looking into. I'm happy to talk to you, but I must remain anonymous for my

1:29.9

own safety. Wow. I mean, we get a lot of emails that are like, this is life or death for me. This

1:35.9

is very important. What was it about that email that jumped out at you that made you want to pursue

1:41.8

this story? You know, it was short. And most of those emails that you were like, look into this,

1:49.6

like they're long rambling essays about people's lives and you're just trying to sort through

1:55.3

in this person in this email, wrote names, dates, things that I could easily verify within a few

2:01.4

minutes in a Google search. And that was really helpful to know, no, this person is talking about a
