Yeah. which means I also love movies. And this is a film and a movie. And welcome to the first ever edition of a film and a movie. I'm super excited to be here.

Alonzo, how you doing?

I'm excellent. I'm really thrilled to see where this thing's going to go. And, you know, I haven't seen all these movies myself. So we're going to get to a lot of classics that are big gaps in my own film education.

Yeah. And while Alonzo is being quite modest, he is the professional film critic.

And the reality is what we're trying to do here is kind of bring ourselves to a cross-section

of modern-day movie going and classic cinema.

And we'll do that by watching two movies.

They have some sort of connection.

One is deemed a classic.

The other is one that you've probably heard of and seen,

and maybe it'll inspire you to go and check out that old classic or at least learn some film

history along the way. And each and every week, we're going to try to have a guest that's

also a film critic. And this week is no exception. We have from Roger Eber.com and the New York Times

and many other places, Matt Zoller's Heights is with us,

and we're super excited to have it.
