Hey, everyone, and thanks for joining. If you're listening to this, it's probably because you're planning to jump in with our 2022 Join the Journey Bible reading plan, where we'll read through the New Testament together in a year.

While our first episode, it's going to drop Monday, January 3rd of 2022.

I want to take a moment and make sure we're all on the same page.

Normally, we'll jump right into the text.

However, today, everybody's new, and this year we'll be reading through the New Testament

together, one chapter a day, Monday through Friday,

which is awesome because if you're anything like me and you might fall behind, you've got the

weekends to catch up. You can access the full Join the Journey New Testament reading plan a few

different ways. You can easily read along with us online by visiting jointhejourney.com or by

downloading the Join the app. If you choose to access the reading plan through the website or app, you'll be open join the journey.com or by downloading the Join the journey app. If you choose

to access the reading plan through the website or app, you'll be able to read a short devotional

regarding that day's passage, walk through some discussion questions, comment and interact with

other readers, or even sign up to receive each day's scripture in devo via email in the morning.

Plus, if you use the app, you can set reminders on

your phone to make sure you don't neglect your time in God's Word. But for some of us, more screen

time is the last thing we need. So if reading God's Word on your computer or phone opens the door

for more distractions, I'd recommend you join the journey through one of two ways. First, we've got the reading plan and

PDF form on the website, join the journey.com. Just simply click on the resources tab, download the free

PDF, print it out, and stick it in your Bible. And if you're in Dallas, Texas, you can pick

up a copy of the PDF at the Welcome Desk at Watermark Community Church, my home church, on Sunday mornings.
