Hey, sister, hey, welcome to the Set Apart Daughters podcast.

I'm your host, Denise Copeland, and I am delighted that you are joining me today for our first episode.

This podcast was created to empower, encourage, and equip women to live a free and full life in Christ. My hope is to develop a community of women who have a heart to be set apart.

Now, without further ado, I wanted to take some time to introduce myself so that you can get to know me a little bit.

So as you heard in the beginning, my name is Denise Copeland.

I am a daughter of the most high God, a wife, and a mother of two beautiful boys.

I'm currently a stay-at-home mom and using my God-given hospitality gift to serve the community around me.

Now, to make this a little bit more fun, I wanted to share with you two fun facts about me.

The first fun fact is that I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Cool, right? I basically

lived where you vacation. My second fun fact is that I drink only ice coffee. So where am I

ice coffee lovers? I love ice coffee, even when it's 20 degrees. Alright, now let's get into the deeper stuff about myself.

So I wasn't always a disciple of Jesus.

On the contrary, I was against Jesus.

I lived for myself and I tried to find life and love in all the wrong places, such as relationships,

alcohol, and just the pleasures of life.

You know, all that goes into that.

While I was going down that path, it took me nowhere but down a very dark place in my life until I finally surrender my life to Jesus,

the giver of life and breath and everything else. In Christ I found my worth and my purpose as a woman
