Tamales Bay is an idyllic inlet north of San Francisco near the point where he's national

seashore. It's exquisitely beautiful with wetlands on one end and rolling hills and forest

on either side. Egritz, Heron, and countless other birds visit or make their homes there,

and it's so so quiet. The Bay is about an hour north of where I live, so I spend as much time up
