Well, today we're concluding our series on relationships called intimate encounters.

And if you haven't been with us, I'll catch you up in just a minute. But we've been talking about

the nature of true intimacy and the fact that in our hyper-sexualized world that what we all crave

is not what's portrayed actually in the movies and in the magazines and in social media,

these pictures and these images, these things we see, they're not exactly what we're after.

Last week we talked specifically about how our design, the design of humanity and

specifically of the first relationship, we get this picture. And what we were really designed for

was oneness, an intimacy that involved attachment and it's forged by access as we gain greater

access to one another physically, emotionally and spiritually. And as a matter of fact,

last week we looked at the pinnacle. I told you, I was going to give you a definition for true

intimacy. If you weren't here last week, we looked and I didn't even have to make up the definition

because it's right in the scriptures, the pinnacle, the pinnacle of the description of the first

relationship between Adam and his wife Eve. We're told that they were naked and unashamed,

which is really it's the idea that there was nothing between them, no fear, nothing to hide.

And they were fully accessible and fully offering themselves to one another. And so we've been
