Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

In the Gospel of Matthew, two men come up to Jesus at different times and ask his help for someone at home whom they love.

One is Gyrus, a son of Israel, the other is the

soldier of Rome. Now they both have a similar request. Someone they love is sick and they ask Jesus to exercise his power of healing.

But one of them, Gyrus says,

quickly, Lord, come to my home.

And the other one says,

No, Lord, don't come.

It's not right of you to come to the home of an unworthy man like myself.

And even though they both had different actually opposite approaches, Jesus granted them both what they were asking.

And they can both be an example for us.

Our Father who art in heaven, hollow would be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil, amen.

Hey O Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee,

Blessed art thou among women.

Blessed is a fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, mother of God, breathe for a sinner and earns known at the hour of our death, Amen.
