Good morning and welcome to morning, Gloria. It's three minutes past six. It is, of course, Tuesday, the 7th of October.

That means it's the second anniversary of that terrible day two years ago in 2023, when we all woke up to discover that people had invaded Israel from Gaza, all sorts of horrible terrorists from Hamas, had set fires to buildings,

had burned people to death, had massacred individual families, had made children watch their

parents die, had raped, pillaged and generally run amok in a music festival, and literally

slaughtered millions of innocent lives.

I know it wasn't millions of innocent lives, but it might as well have been because that's

how it felt.

And I remember feeling that particular day how sad that was going on in Britain and in the world

that we lived in.
