I feel like you put this idea of dying in my head.

Well, Amy, thank you so much for joining me today.

I'm really excited to talk about your film.

She dies tomorrow. Clearly, excited to talk about your film. She Dyes Tomorrow.

Clearly, it's a very unique film, hard to even put in the box of a single genre.

So could you just walk me through how you kind of develop this idea, the screenplay,

and where the idea kind of originated?

Sure.

So I, it's very much a movie about anxiety and fear of death.

And that's very personal for me.

And in addition to that, I, you know, I write for television.

So it takes a long time to develop these things. And coming from the world

that I came from, which is independent film, there's, I like immediacy. I like things to happen fast.

And I like, as a filmmaker, for that to know that I have control over, like, you know, wielding when I get to do my craft. And, uh,

and a lot of times I sort of assuage that by acting on things. And, um, and I'm very lucky that I get
