I'm a clinical psychologist and medium, and here we discuss life, death, consciousness, and what

it all means. I'm excited today to welcome Marla Hughes to the show. Marla has a master's degree in exercise

physiology and has worked with children her entire life in many capacities. She lost her son

Dean two years ago and has been on a spiritual quest to understand her experience. Marla recently

found the Interviews with Innocence Project where she is gathering

stories from parents and caregivers about their young children, telling stories about their

spiritual experiences, such as memories from heaven, choosing their parents, reincarnation

invisible friends, and other moments of wonder and awe.

And today I have Marla back. Marla was here a while ago talking about your son and your

experience with signs with him. But today we're going to talk about your new podcast,

which hopefully by the time this airs

will have just launched, and it's called Interviews with Innocence. So I know that you lost

Dean only two years ago. This was sort of your journey into spirituality, but how do you feel like you got led in that

direction? Well, first of all, thank you for having me back. I really appreciate it. And I,

after the tragedy of my son, I had never really been, I thought I was spiritual.

I did yoga and, you know, I tried to meditate and all those things that we do.

But my eyes really, I really woke up after, after this happened.

And as you know from my last interview, I'll just start at the very beginning, a few weeks

after the tragedy, my friend, who my very, one of my best friends, who's a medium and very

clairvoyant, came to me and shared with me that my son had come to her in the middle of the

night, like at two in the morning, and she had gotten
