My co-host, George Ehrlich, just traveling back actually today from what has been a fairly long holiday.

We hope and think that he's returning, motivated, refreshed, ready to tackle 2019. Because he has a day of traveling in front of him,

I made this podcast a little bit different. We wanted to make sure we got something out. And in the

end, what we've ended up with is a very long podcast and a slightly different format. It almost

feels kind of like a radio show in some regards. And I just implore you to check the sort of running order.

It is a bit different, but hopefully some really interesting things in the podcast.

We have spoken to George. I made sure that I got him on the phone from a car park in Cape Town

for 10 minutes or so. I said, pick your favorite topic from across the EFL. Pick the best

topic and we'll touch on that. So George chose the League One relegation battle.

I think it'd be wrong to call that his favourite topic right now.

But certainly across the EFL, one of many very, very interesting storyline.

So we go in depth on that.

There's also going to be a conversation with Gab Sutton,

who many of you'll know on Twitter as the Football Lab, a wonderful

website where he analyzes EFL games from across all three divisions doing a fantastic job and has

done for an awfully long time. He was at Birmingham Borough on the weekend. He goes to a different

game each week. We've also phoned up David Anderson, who's a Brentford fan. David
