writer director star Matthew Rankin, and writer Ila Therzabadi. How we doing today, folks?

Really great. Lovely to be with you. Thank you.

I'll be with you too, of course. Just to start out, and I'm sure you've been asked this in

many ways or many variations. This is a film that

almost seems to revel in defying obvious description, so I want to know from you what inspired

you to make this film. Yes, it is a question that is asked, and it is a hard film to describe.

One question we get a lot in Q&A's is how did you pitch this what is your

elevator pitch and we don't really have any good answer for that um in large part because the

film i mean yes there's a story but uh it's not really about the story i mean the story is part of it

but it's it's it's about know, it's about an emotional experience.

It's about a philosophical experience.

It's funny.
