We have an award winner here, a big time award winner.

The Emmys were last night, and we have an Emmy Award winner on our show.

We've got Tori Petri, the multimedia journalist from the Detroit Lions, with us today.

That was pretty solid by me i think

so what was it like when in an Emmy it was pretty cool I mean obviously things

look different this year usually it's this big fancy ceremony downtown and you get

dressed up and you wear a gown and you know it's such a huge

celebration um and then you give a speech on stage if you win and this year it was all virtual

because it's 2020 and i was just in my living room making dinner uh going to celebrate at home, just watched the Emmys and everything.

Wasn't really expecting anything.

And boom, my category comes up.

And I ended up being selected for the sports reporter talent category.

And it was such an honor, so cool.

I didn't even mind that it was a different year and that it was virtual.

It was just an honor winning the Emmy.
