surprises in store.

That's because it takes the familiar tale about a young man named Louis, his handsome vampire

lover Lestat, and Claudia, the creepy vampire child they adopt, and it keeps introducing twists

and layers that complicate and deepen their story.

It's funny, you're sexier and queerer than you remember.

Most importantly, this Louis isn't a white plantation owner.

He's an ambitious and closeted black man.
