Mueller was seen and heard. Now there are more Democrats wanting more action against the president.

Mr. Mueller said what he wrote. He was not allowed to charge the president, and he would have cleared the president if the facts allowed, but they didn't.

So what is the way forward for Democrats and when will they decide?

We have a top dem.

Senator Richard Blumenthal is here, and he's going to give us some insight on that.

And wondering what the president was thinking, as Mr. Mueller was speaking,

and what it meant to him, me too. And we have someone who was in the

room with the president right after Mr. Mueller's remarks. His longtime friend, Chris Ruddy,

the head of Newsmax, he was with the president and now he's with us tonight. And for all the talk

about what Mueller couldn't do and wasn't allowed to do and what he

didn't do, but what he thought he might do, he had one clear statement of concern about the

integrity of our democracy, and it's being all but ignored. Is anyone focusing on how to protect

All right. Once and for all, together as one, there was no exoneration. It was clear in the report.

And for those of you who didn't read or didn't believe what the Attorney General was telling you and what the President was telling you was wrong, Mr.

Mueller finally stepped forward and spelled it out plainly.

A president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office.

The Constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally

accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing.

If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have

said so.
