Ryan Reese is the co-founder of the Whosoever's Movement, a nonprofit organization that

empower students at public high schools to make positive choices no matter the circumstances.

Ryan also teaches a weekly study at Calvary Chapel

Golden Springs which can also be heard on K-wave 107.9 FM. He's the host of a

live radio talk show, Ryan Live with Ryan Reese, which is heard across 50 stations nationwide and

live streamed every Saturday night. Ryan's hope is to inspire people to stand together and

make a difference. Ryan Reese joins me here today on unabordered with Seth Grubr to discuss abortion, life, the

church, the gospel, and so much more.

I appreciate you stopping by. Thanks for having me.

So our paths crossed in an interesting way. I had heard your name and then a mutual friend of ours said I needed to connect with you and then people were telling me to have me on your show and then we did that and that was awesome.

But I think the one thing I came away from after our interview together was just I think you're just a walking example of the grace and power of God and I think we all are if you're followers of Jesus we've been redeemed we've been saved from eternal death that makes us a walking example of the power of God but I think particularly how God is you use, it's been so powerful.

And so I want my listeners to know a little bit about your background and kind of where God has brought to you today.

So who is Ryan Reese? What's your story?

Well, by no means have I ever arrived at all. It's just a continued work of God's grace and mercy in our lives. And, you know, my dad, he just just he talks about being a Christian he says, you know, you always just got to keep it simple, you know, be with the people and just keep your eyes on God and that's basically it's just head to the cross every single every single day so I want to encourage you guys on that I grew up in in Los Angeles, California and you know my brothers are all part of the the

music industry you know he's one of my brothers was playing in the band up in

in LA this is during the whole sk skinhead and punk movement.

I was about six years younger, so we grew up skateboarding,

part of that punk rock mentality

and getting picked up on, you know, vespas

from skinheads and stuff in school so I had a really cool radical life growing up but I got into
