Notre Dame men's lacrosse number two in the nation right now as they roll through another season.

And earlier today, I talked with Fighting Irish head coach, Kevin Corrigan,

previewing this Saturday's big matchup with number one, North Carolina.

Well, it's good to see you. Notre Dame host top ranked North Carolina this Saturday at

5 o'clock at our Lata Stadium, first of two remaining home games for the Fighting Irish as we get

into the month of April right now. Coach, you know, like every day I look outside and, you know,

you had your coat on and your sweatshirt on underneath it.

I was just thinking about this as we were getting ready to start.

You've got, you know, we've got in this area such a wide range of temperatures.

Is there a perfect weather for lacrosse?

You know, like perfect temperature to play lacrosse?

And do you think, you know, when you consider all the, you know, the energy and everything else that you guys use out there?

Yeah, the perfect weather is probably in Loftus every day,

about 67 and partly sunny. But outside of that, you don't get perfect around here very often.

We just go for tolerable. Don't we all know that? Yeah, no, it is what it is. It's spring,

you know, in spring you get a little bit of everything and sometimes you get a little bit of everything in the same day. So, so, it is what it is. Not something we waste too much time worrying about. No, I mean, you can't. And it's not like baseball. I mean, you're going to go out and regardless of what the temperatures, you're going to play one way or another, right? Yeah, we're going to play in pretty much all of it.
