Why don't we kind of start with helping people get to know you you a little bit and if you wouldn't mind just telling us where you grew up and kind of when you met jesus and came to faith i grew up here in southern

california a little city called wittier oh not so little anymore but just the stones throw from

by all university i was homeschooled through junior high and not so little anymore, but just a stone's throw from Biola University.

I was homeschooled through junior high, and then I went to Whittier High School,

which is my father's alma mater.

What was the plan there?

Well, I always really wanted to participate in athletics, particularly competitively.

And so I really wanted to go to high school.
