Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović's feature directorial debut "Murina" had its world premiere at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Caméra d'Or award for the best first-time feature of the festival. It then went on to play at other film festivals before getting released theatrically by Kino Lorber in the summer of 2022, and now, it finds itself nominated for three Film Independent Spirit Awards, including Best First Feature, Best Cinematography, and Best Breakthrough Performance for its lead star Gracija Filipović.
