So let's kick things off by learning more about

both yourself and how you got into the industry. Megan, you first. Absolutely. So my name is

Megan Baumer. I'm a business development director here at GS1 US. Shane and I actually both

unboarded about 18 months ago getting the old hands at this point. Prior to working at GS1 US, I actually worked for a company that did private label product manufacturer. So we designed, produced, and delivered custom products for everything from gifting, gift with purchase, small private retail.

So I had a lot of experience in sort of that manufacturer space.

And before that, I worked in nonprofits, actually, for a number of years.

And Shane?

Yeah.

Well, so my name is Shane Morris.

I'm a business development director as well.

Megan and I hired on one week apart from one another.

So we've been in the trenches the whole time together. It's been awesome. My background, so my whole life has, I've been in retail. So my dad was part owner of grocery stores growing up, started working in the grocery stores. Pre pre scanning checkout. I then moved on on to I worked for some national, I was in

the apparel business, so I worked for some national retailers. I flipped over, was on the

supplier side, so I headed up sales on the supplier side, used GS1 standards in the businesses
