Dave Parfitt interviews Marty Sklar. Marty Sklar was one of the invited keynote speakers of the DIS Unplugged appearing at our December event (DIS-a-palooza), and agreed to sit down for an exclusive interview to share his experiences working with and for Walt Disney, both the man and the company. Marty Sklar's career with the Walt Disney Company progressed from Staff Writer to Vice President of Concepts and Planning, and then to President of Walt Disney Imagineering. He was directly involved in the design of Disney Park attractions such as: The Enchanted Tiki Room, it's a small world, Carousel of Progress, and Space Mountain to name just a few. He was also the only Disney Cast Member who participated in the opening of all 11 Disney Theme Parks, and he was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2001.
