so you were born in Washington, D.C. And I just want to know, you know, did you have a big sports

upbringing? And who were some of your early inspirations to get into journalism?

Well, I mean, I guess my love for sports kind of centered around my ability to, you know, play them very well when I was young.

I was the fastest female in my school and, you know, played a variety of sports and track and basketball and things like that.

I've come from a family who are very sports oriented in terms of, you know, consuming it on television
