And now we have to see what has happened and where it leads us.

Now, you could say this is only the fourth time

that the House judiciary has begun considering articles of impeachment against a sitting

president, but really, it's even more precious than that, because with Nixon, this didn't really

go anywhere because he resigned. You have to look at Clinton and you have to look at this.

And it's important to do so not because of equivalencies,

but because of some really intriguing sameness.

We're going to look at what today meant and what the challenges ahead are.

Individually, it was five minutes of pop today. One by one, members of the committee with

jurisdiction over impeachment, the judiciary, fired off their takes on the two articles

level against President Donald J. Trump, abuse of power, and obstruction of Congress.

It was long, and it was really painful proof of the division of where we are at this time.
