Me and you both haven't experienced it but you may have had clients but this is

I think that when it like we said we saw all the time mental health is not discussed and then I think even so much things that we experience in pregnancy that are physical that impact us are dismissed or gas lighted.

So Andrea, I'm super excited for your voice and your story.

Thank you so much. So my name is Andrea Stephens. I am a

creative arts therapist and hyperemesis coach. I'm a mom of two awesome

daughters that are 18 and 15 and I am a two-time survivor of severe

hyper-emesis.

Mm-hmm. And survivor is the key and our listeners will really

understand further we go in this conversation of that is a very you know that's the most

accurate description so Andrea let's start off what is H.G or hyper-emesis?

Okay so to just look at the the name of it itself, hyper is too much,

Emesis is vomiting, gravoderum is while pregnant, so it's not a real sexy thing but that's what it is. And it's far, far beyond

morning sickness. Like morning sickness, you don't feel good, maybe you throw up once or twice here and there
