So let's just kind of give our listeners who don't know the full story, just like a glimpse

about mom's mental health.

Yeah, so just kind of a very brief version. I became a mom through infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. We went through a lot of years of going through that and we did IVF for our first son and then we went through a lot of years of trying to have our second son and recurrent loss and cancelled cycles and just a lot of difficulties.

And then we had our second son via surrogacy at the end of 2020

and then I actually ended up getting pregnant on my own

when he was about four months old and we had our third son last January who just turned one.

So my past and motherhood was very not many here at all, but for me through that I think that I've spent so much time focusing on having children that I didn't really think about what it would be like when I actually had them. And then when I had my first son, I felt like I was just still in this, I'm still having children mindset. I was there for him and I was like he was everything when he was born and we're so excited but like we

jumped so quickly into trying for another one when he was like eight months old or nine months old that I feel like there's so many things that now I feel like I missed but I don't really think I missed them but I just think I was in this mindset of being obsessed over having another child for so long that I didn't even allow myself to process that I was actually already a mom and even once I became a mom again with our second son, I realized that I had not ever processed any of the emotions that go along with infertility or pregnancy loss. I thought I did during it, but I really thought, and I think a lot of people feel this way that once I had him everything would just be okay and I know that's not really true in reality, but I had just this like okay all I have to do is I have to get him here and then everything's going to be okay.
