Season 2 of Darkness is a six episode podcast examining a series of package bombs that exploded at homes throughout the Austin, Texas area in 2018.

The bombs killed three people and injured six more over a period of nearly 20 days, causing fear to envelop the city during Austin's biggest festival.

Hosted by Ashley Misnazi and produced by the drag audio production house, you'll hear emotional stories of resilience from the survivors of these crimes, accounts of pain and recovery from the victim's loved ones, and the questions they still have three years later.

The podcast takes a closer look at the efforts of law enforcement officials who work to stop the bloodshed, with interviews with the lead investigators for the FBI, ATF, and Austin police.

You'll also hear about how the bombings exposed Austin's racial wounds as members of Austin's black community felt they were being targeted by the bomber and ignored by investigators.
