All right, welcome, everybody, to another episode of Drop in the Gloves.

We got Billy Ranford here joining the show today, and I was just looking at your career, Bill.

You got to Edmonton when I was just leaving.

I was born in Edmonton in 1982 and we left when the tornado ripped through. You probably don't even know because you

were just getting there in 87 and I was just leaving. So yeah, we kind of crossed past. You were

probably in a fancy airplane. I was in a junkie, you know, pickup truck, inching my way out of town. But gosh,

what could have been? You know what I mean? Yeah, exactly. Well, I was, I lived in Red Deer for a couple

of years there with my dad was military. So we're in Red Deer before I started my junior career.

Ah, Albert is a beautiful place. So you must have been happy to get traded from Boston, Edmonton.

But before we get into that, I want to talk about it.

I met Bill on the big trip up north to Northwest Territories, the Delenay through Jackson

events.

I actually got your number from Lucy Jackson, the daughter of the big head honcho there,

Andrew Jackson.

What did you think of that trip?

Because it was an interesting couple days going up to Northwest Territories.
