congressman salazar put together what's called the dignity act and it is based off the book she

wrote which is called dignity notity, Not Citizenship,

How to Fix Our Broken Immigration System Once and for All. In short, the Dignity Act gives a

illegal alien the ability to showcase that they've been here for longer than five years so in other

words they didn't come in under joe biden and they have to show that they have not committed a crime

other than the civil crime of crossing the border.

They have to demonstrate that they can pass a background check.

Now, what that background check is, I don't know.

That's always going to be the problem.

But she wants it to be where Jose from Guatemala can so-called come out of the shadows and apply for legal work authorization, pay taxes, pay a fine, and live here in the United States of

America. And if he or she wants to buy a house, they could do all the things.

The only thing they can't do is they can't get the benefits that you get as an American

citizen.

They can't get a vote.

Nothing.
