hey George thanks for having me again man Could you start by explaining to a layman audience what hypergamy is?

It's very basic stuff here.

Yeah, so the simplest way to define it is women's predisposition to want to date across and up on the socioeconomic scale.

So they want to be able to look up to a giant and they want to be with a man that is better than them. Better in all sense of

regards, more influential, has more resources, more specifically money, good

social network, all of that stuff.

It's got many pieces of the puzzle, but the simplest definition is basically women want to look

up to the guy that they're with.

They can't look across or down to the guy they want to look up to him.

Yeah and I think it makes a lot of sense I always I remember one time I was in at a

conference rich and I was trying to explain this to the audience

and I said to all the women in the audience or first I think I said to the guys I said

how many of you if you were single would date a gal that worked at McDonald's and the question I got was well it depends on what she looks like

Yeah, or it depends on you know a lot of these factors and then I asked the women in the audience that

were all kind of middle-aged you know making quite a bit money. I said how many of

you would date a guy that worked at McDonald's? Honestly, crickets.
