I'm Katie Rich and I'm here for this interview episode with the interviewer of both of our interviews, Richard Lawson, the busiest man on Little Gold Men this week.

Hello, yes.

I don't show up much on these interview episodes, so I guess double duty makes sense.

This is like a special treat for anyone who's been waiting for you to probe famous people with your questions.

We'll start with a conversation that you had back in March at the Miami Film Festival with the director, Rameen Barani.

You were talking about a movie of his that you had seen there, but is now coming out, right?

Yeah, it's called Second Chance.

And it's an interesting project from Barani who has worked sort of in Dock You fiction before with like Man Push Cart.

But this is his first true like feature documentary.

And true to what he does, which is kind of investigate lives on the edges of the American margins.

He tells a really interesting story about the inventor of the bulletproof vest essentially, this guy named Richard Davis, who is very strange.

But really, the movie, if you can believe it Katie, is about much more than that.
