Josh Hammer is a pro-Israel advocate. He is the editor at Newsweek. He was a friend of Charlie Kirk's, and he is at somewhat war with some of the people on the right in terms of Tucker Carlson types.

You know me.

I'm neither pro or anti-Israel.

I'm pro-America.

But I had a conversation with Josh to understand better what his take is on all of this hatred and vitriol for Israel.

And what I really think is the Israeli people.

So strap in, it's a great interview, and I appreciate it in a huge way you watching and give me your feedback.

Josh, I want to start off the fact that the messaging about all things Israel have seemed to have gone south.

I can't believe how quick this happened and why it's happened.

And I want to ask you as somebody who was tight with Charlie Kirk and you're in that sort of that age group where it's sort of like whether you talk to somebody, you know, you could get in one end, somebody tell you that Israel's horrible. You're getting paid $7,000. Screw you, you, Jew. I mean, I can't believe some of the words that come out of the mouth. And then you got the other people like, hey, how did this happen? What the hell is going on? It's like this black and white divide. So when you look at this, what is it that started this whole anti-Israel messaging? What caused it? What started it? Who's mostly to blame?

Yeah, it's a complicated tale. So, I mean, I don't know that there's necessarily just one singular explanation.

I think part of it is a tremendous overreaction to the failures of the boondoggles in Iraq, Afghanistan, and people that are coming to the exact opposite conclusion. They're basically saying that,

okay, if Bush-era neoconservatism

didn't work, then therefore Ron Paul, Tucker Carlson, isolationism must be the answer when in reality,

most Americans, most common-sense people are somewhere between those two logical extremes.

So I think that's part of what's happening here. I think the number one explanation for the

rise, not just an anti-Isual sentiment, but really just in anti-Semitism that we're seeing all around us.
