The Big 12, I think, is starting to turn over a new leaf, and it should be known to me

as a conference that is starting to play some darn good defense with what Baylor is doing,

Iowa State, oh, you turning the corner late in the season.

When you're looking at this conference now, Phil, is it fair to say the all offense, no defense

mantra is starting to go by the wayside?

Yeah, I would agree with that.

And I think you go back and you take a look at, you know,

you go back to the LSU Alabama game, for example, in the SEC country, and that final

score was 46 to 41.

You didn't hear people screaming that the SEC was an offensive league, and you look at some

of the teams this year.

I think Oklahoma has one of the

most underrated defenses in the entire country. In fact, this year, they rank number 11, holding

opponents to 95 yards per game below their season average. I thought TCU had one of the best
