I'm excited about today's podcast. I have an extraordinary founder. This is a person

who co-founded a company that sold for over a, you know, a data of a billion in revenue.

She has exited that. She is the co-founder of TransPerfect. It was the largest language solution company in the world with in over a hundred cities.

But what I'm excited about is she's kind of put that on paper and she wrote the book Dream Big and when it's coming out right now.

I'm doing great. Thank you Sean. Great to be here.

So I, you know, love to find out, you know, why people became an entrepreneur as opposed to an employee, you know, most fairly bright, energetic people could be successful as an employee.

And I'd like to think that I could, you know, do fairly well if I, if I work for someone, you know, you know, seek destroy climb the ladder.

But we don't do it that way. And you built a company, you know, a billion dollars in revenue here.

So when did you know you, you know, you had this entrepreneurial, you know, desire as opposed to, you know, working for somebody.

Right. Now, great question because I like a lot of people thought I would live in corporate America or be there for at least a period of time.

What ended up happening was I, to give you just a little background, I studied four languages by the time I graduated from high school.

Well, I lived in five countries by the time I graduated from college, major in languages and college knew I loved languages.

Also knew I loved business. And I thought, well, what on earth am I going to do with those two things? I ended up getting a job shortly after graduating from college in New York City at what at the time was the world's largest language solutions company or translation company.

I called it back then and loved it. But I kept thinking this can be done better.

There, there seems to be a real gap here between what clients need and what is available in the industry.

So I just had these ideas as I was there.

I ended up leaving after three years going back to school, getting my MBA from NYU, business school.

And then what happened was I majored in finance and international business there.

I thought, you know, I love the language industry, but I'm getting my MBA. I've got to use this MBA.

I can't get along with an MBA in the ability to speak multiple languages. I mean, that is the super package.
