episode, an exclusive interview with one of the biggest names in country music, Casey Musgraves.

This week, Casey Musgraves announced her sixth album, Middle of Nowhere, which will be out on May 1st.

She had to find a space beyond country music with albums like the Grammy-winning Golden Hour,

but now Musgraves is ready to two-step again.

The new album reflects a renewed interest in traditional country and the time she's been spending

at the Texas-Mexico border.

She sat down with reporter Julie Haidt for her first interview about the project,

and they started by chatting about the first single, Dry Spell.

It's a cowboy shuffle that employs classic country double entendres

and shows Musgraves at her country comedian best.
