Many of you, all of you know them.

Of course, if you're a big 12 fan, been covering the conference for a year,

has spent a lot of time around the conference.

He got a big gig, a big promotion a few weeks back. He is

heading to Cleveland. He will be covering the Browns for ESPN. Jay, congratulations first off.

I wanted to make sure we got you on the show before you left us here in the Big 12 for good.

I know you got a lot of great things on the horizon though i appreciate that have really enjoyed

covering uh teams in the conference for the last several years and you know this was an opportunity

that i you know felt like i had to take uh you know couldn't turn down but um i i really enjoyed

what i was doing and so i'll definitely miss covering the teams in the Big 12 and college football as a whole.

Well, Jake, let's talk about the Big 12 as you kind of put a bow on that part of your career, at least for now.

As you look back on your tenure, what is the game, the moment that you think back to that this just kind of sticks out in your mind more than any others?

I think that the best game I ever covered was the 2008 Red River Showdown, Colt McCoy versus Sam Bradford.

Texas won that game, 4535.
