Today's episode is a growing-up iduni interview with Shiva Gavrani, an OBGYN, better known as

Big Love Fierce Juju, on Instagram, where she posts daily videos about topics like pregnancy,

female hormones, STDs, really all that good stuff that doesn't often get talked about openly. She's recently

the co-creator of Tribe Called V, an online program about pregnancy and childbirth that we talk

more about later in the program. Sheva's family moved to the United States before the revolution

and worked as doctors in Massachusetts. Despite this, her path to becoming a doctor wasn't necessarily a straightforward one.

Compared to her sister, she describes herself as the wayward daughter who took a while to figure

out her path, and her work now really marries her interest in engagement, community, creativity,

and the practice of medicine.

and that somehow got on my radar, and I started watching your stuff. And I really enjoyed

watching the things that you talk about so openly on your channel. So you have an Instagram,

a very prolific Instagram where you talk about women's issues. You talk about a lot of things

we don't talk about often out loud. And I guess this is me outing myself on the podcast,

but this is my third pregnancy now. I'm about having a baby in September. So by the time
