We are recording this a little bit after noon time on Thursday, March 27th.

Which means my guest today has about, let's do some quick math, 33 hours until he becomes a very nervous individual.

We'll talk about that in a bit. He is, of course, senior writer for ESPN, New York Times bestselling author of Blood in the Garden, the best damn sports book to come out in many, many years.

Chris Herring, are you nervous yet about tomorrow night, or are you taking it in stride?

You know what?

I think a lot of, not a lot lot not all uh because certainly there are people

that are better at the same i'm not the biggest michigan basketball guy i've been really

fair weather about them the last couple of you uh i feel like i've poured every ounce of care

into football even this year you know coming off a national title win the season before

and feeling like, okay, they've got four guys that could be first rounders. They've got other guys

that are really good. They should win like nine games, maybe 10 games. They could have done that.

They ended up winning eight, but they, even with this depleted situation, beat Ohio State, who then won the title.

So I feel like even just the ability to keep the Ohio State Win Street going, I poured so much into that.

And then I will readily admit college basketball season happening during the NBA season is tough.

College football is a little easier because it's just it's a set.

The games are on Saturday and that's it.

I can set time aside for that.

It's harder to follow that during college basketball when it's also during NBA season.
