beautiful game with me Kevin Day and Liverpool University's Kirin McQuire. How are you Kirin?

I know the answer to that because literally five seconds ago we were still talking to

each other about your main pen and in the carol of order. I'm still tickety-boo. I've got

myself now Kirin McQuire. We bring you another of our special interview pods and this one is

a particularly interesting insight with a young man who's a Lincoln City fan named Charlie Beeston

who's registered blind and he got in touch with us a few weeks ago to ask whether we would be

interested in sharing his experience of going to football and in particular the financial aspects

of it. To be honest Kirin a lot of what we talk about Charlie isn't about finances but I think

it's still very important that we talk about this issue and this is what Charlie had to say.

Charlie hello thank you so much for joining us. Before we start to talk about your experience as a

visually impaired football fan Charlie just tell us a little bit about yourself and what team you

support. Yeah so I my name is Charlie you know I'm a 19 year old fan I'm a Lincoln City fan

so currently in league one but I also do a lot of traveling for football I'm a bit of a

ground-opper trying to try and get through the 92 slowly but surely you know whenever whenever

the bank balance allows it really but you know last season I did every Lincoln game home in a way

so I'd like to think that I've got a sort of a decent bank of experiences that I can very much

talk from. Is it possible Charlie to describe to us the extent of your sight loss?

Yeah absolutely so I'm registered as severely sighted as a perched stroke blind

which is at the top level if you like so yeah I get the top of water blindness no
