But yes, there is definitely cause for optimism.

And as I keep telling myself, the more hamfisted the propaganda is, the blunter their messaging is, the sooner people will see through it.

So, yeah, keep it up.

Yeah, it's good to meet you. So, as I say, I have been following your writing at oilprice.com

for a number of years now. But for people who are new to you and your writing, tell us a little

bit about yourself, why and how you got into writing about energy in particular and other

things besides and what your background is. Well, it kind of happened by accident. I had a friend

who worked at a data processing company, which meant writing news, among other things.

And they were looking for someone to cover the energy industry of Russia and the former Soviet Union.

And I was the person, apparently.

And when I started writing about energy oil and gas exclusively at the time, I found out it was really interesting.
