Summary

via Truth Over Comfort: In todays video, I conducted an interview with James Corbett, about the concept of Hopium, and his documentary featuring it. We discuss Obama, Trump, Qanon and more. Hopium is intertwined with society in politics, religion, idols and general life. As with Obama and Trump, this belief of someone coming to save society, like a superhero or divine figure, followed a pattern of disappointment and egregious lies.

some horrible side effects.

1:22.7

And I think the parallel here is that we can see the same process taking place not only in the political world.

1:28.9

I think it happens in a lot of aspects of our lives, but certainly most, I think most

1:33.1

obviously in this day, in this era, in the political realm, where people become addicted to

not hope, which I don't want to denigrate. And I do go out of my way to make that point

1:48.1

in my brief history of opium, that I'm not denigrating hope itself. I think hope is an essential

and important ingredient to the human spirit that helps us, propels us forward. But hopium
