Hello, everybody. Welcome to Glass Onion on John Lennon, and this is our review of the 2006 documentary, the US versus John Lennon.

And I'm absolutely delighted to have with me someone who's been on my Life and Life Finally podcast and whose work I've followed for many years, James Corbett of the Corbett Report. How are you doing?

I am doing excellent, Anthony. Thank you for having me on.

As you'll recall, when I was on Life and Life Only, I said, I will know I've made it as a podcaster

when I'm on Glass Onion. So I have made it. It is official, and I come prepared with my Meet the Beatles

t-shirt, even though I grew up on the Parlophone records, so Meet the Beatles means nothing to me.

But it's the only T-shirt I happen to have flying around.

But I'm wearing it because this is not even the first Beatles-related podcast I've recorded today.

I was just doing my monthly series with Vinicagiano, where we're doing deep dives into the music

theory of each song, and we'll eventually, we'll probably get to all of them. So I was just

doing that one today, so I thought I'd wear the shirt. Yeah, and we've had a mutual acquaintance

as well, Matt from Pop Goes the 60s. You you're on his show and then he invited me on

as well it's fantastic and then i've introduced him to your work your non your non beatles work so

nice bit of cross pollination going on there um you also said earlier in the year that you wouldn't

come on my podcast unless you had anything uh he said you'd only talk about the John Lennon assassination,

but we found something.

I just thought of the other topic that would have been good was John Lennon as a writer

because I saw, I heard your conversation on that topic.

And I'm like, I could have, I could have done that.
