This is Derek Brose.

Welcome to episode seven of the

Activation Podcast. Today I have with me, Mr. James Corbett, who my longtime listeners will be familiar

with. This is the first time James, you're appearing on this kind of newer podcast I'm doing. I started

this after January greater reset that you were part of because maybe you know what I'm talking about.

I sort of got sick of doing a weekly show that's just focused on news. And I was like,

let me have some interesting conversations that touch on important topics, but maybe don't focus

on the latest news of the week. So that's what I want to have you on here to just see where we

can bring this. But how are you doing today? I'm doing all right. Actually, you know, what you just said kind of reminds me that the one thing I almost, I can't say I regret,

but it is a bit of a thorn, is that the tagline of corporate report has always been

open source intelligence news, which I understand makes people probably believe that I see this as a news show or news vehicle.

But it's not about the news per se.

I do cover news, but I also definitely want to look at the bigger picture.

And I do.

I don't use that as some sort of limit to what I do.
