So, James, back in July, I read an interesting article on Forbes.com, and it was an

0:14.0

editor's pick, so it must have been good. And the title of the article was, you must not do your

0:20.2

own research when it comes to science.

0:23.6

And I kind of had a chuckle that struck me right away. And of course, the gist of the article was,

0:29.6

well, look, all of us normal people, we have jobs, we got families, wives, responsibilities.

0:36.6

We couldn't possibly have enough time to research the important issues, especially concerning medicine.

Can you find any flaws in that logic?

0:57.9

I can find a few, and I will encourage people at this point to go watch the video that I did on

I think you should. You should research. You should study things for yourself. So I have a

1:22.6

link in the show notes for that video, not to Forbes, which clearly wants the clickbait, rage,

1:28.5

click, hey, what's he talking about click? They get the advertising dollars. I have a link to

1:33.5

archive.a.is, where it does not go to their servers, they do not get the money for it. So I

1:37.7

would suggest people check that link. But do read the article and look at the argument that is

1:43.5

being made, which, as you say, at the surface level, sounds reasonable enough,

1:47.7

but as soon as you start to dig into the details,

1:50.2

becomes, shall we say, problematic to use the lingo of the moment.
