At least late night for me here in Japan. It's early morning for my

guest on the other side of the dateline. And as you will know, I have recently been talking about

the metaphor of the digital library of Alexandria, the internet, being on fire, i.e. books burning

in the library of Alexandria because people are setting them on fire because they want

them to go away. Of course, I'm referring to the censorship issue that we see popping up on so

many social media platforms, Google slash YouTube being perhaps foremost among them. And so you will

cast your mind back just a couple of years ago. I did a wildly unpopular series about social media alternatives,

looking at some different platforms that people can be exploring

while they're trying to figure out how to evade these social media monopolies.
