Most of the authorities in, at least U.S. society, many authorities around the world, are just there to maintain a power structure.

And so they are not, for a guy like him or a guy like me, they're really not legitimate authorities.

They're just there to control and meet the needs of a power structure.

illegitimate authority, which I guess I should read the full title, because it is quite the title.

Resisting Illegimate Authority, a Thinking Person's Guide to Being an Anti-Athoritarian, Strategies,

Tools, and Models.

Well, that's quite the promise, and I can tell you that this book certainly delivers on that promise if you are at all inclined towards the subject matter.
