So James, before we get into conspiracies, what is a conspiracy and what is a conspiracy theory?

Yeah.

Well, this should be a pretty straightforward question to answer, shouldn't it?

Because if you go to the handy-dandy trusty guide to everything, Google, and say, oh, great,

Google, tell us what does conspiracy mean? Just type

in the word conspiracy. And the first thing you'll get is the quotation, from the dictionary,

a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful and use in a sentence, in a

sentence, a conspiracy to destroy the government, interesting, or the action of plotting or

conspiring. They were cleared of conspiracy to pervert the court of justice. So conspiracy, of course,

is a technical, legal term. It is something that means that there were people conspiring to do

something illegal or more colloquially harmful or unlawful, generally speaking.

But, of course, it is never, ever used in that way, except in courts of law where people are

actually charged and convicted on counts of conspiracy. It has always paired in popular

discourse with the word
