It's very important to make the point that the white helmets who purport to be humanitarian,

neutral, impartial and unarmed have been proven, as I said, through their own video evidence,

through the video evidence from the number of moderate extremists,

to be very much armed and very much participating in the terrorist atrocities committed

against Syrian civilians.

Excellent. Well, as I imagine my viewers will already know from my first annual fake news awards last week, we are going to be talking today about the Guardian hit piece that was released on yourself and other independent Syria researchers at the end of last year.

But before we get into that, we are facing some breaking news headlines that obviously will affect the Syria narrative in the coming days and weeks.

And, well, we can take it from no less an authoritative source than herets.com.

Syrian civilians hit by chlorine gas attack activists say.

And of course, the activists that are being cited here

are the Syrian, so-called Syrian civil defense, aka the white helmets, who said on Sunday night

that three of its rescuers and six others were injured by chlorine gas in Syracob, a rebel-held

town less than 16 kilometers from the front line with government forces in

Idlib province. So, Vanessa, given your experience in Syria, in Idlib, what is actually happening

here and what is being misreported? Well, one thing, I think that should be Tourette.com, not Heret.com. And that should be
