and I've been writing and producing this show for almost 10 years now, and spent a lot of time talking about space settlement,

so much so that I was elected president of the National Space Society last year,

and received the Pioneer Award from the International

Space Development Conference a few years before that. During that time, between chatting with

his audience of space enthusiasts and all the folks from those organizations and events, I've

encountered even more excellent ideas about how to settle space. And I felt like it was time to

try to summarize our discussion

of interstellar colonization into something thorough but concise. For channel regulars, they know that

my definition of concise is from the same dictionary Peter Jackson or Zach Snyder presumably
