In an alternate universe, Josh, instead of reviewing Independence Day for its 30th anniversary this Friday,

we did consider reviewing Terminator 2 Judgment Day, another big 4th of July release.

That would be celebrating its 35th anniversary. But we've both seen it. And we thought instead. It's less patriotic. Let's just say it. Far less patriotic. Far less patriotic. And yes, we have both seen it. And I do, I just have to cross that blind spot off my list. It's just been killing me for decades that I haven't seen Independence Day.

So we're going with Independence Day.
